O'Brien's play, 'Down Bottle Alley' was first performed at the White Rock
Theatre in Hastings in 2008. Since then there have been various performances by
Croft Productions, now London Irish Theatre, and now a book of the play,
published in 2010 and launched at the Hammersmith and Camden London Irish
Centres and then at the White Rock Hotel in Hastings - a very apt venue for a
viewing of the play as it's on the seafront, with windows looking out onto the
original Bottle Alley.
